The project brought together most of the feature film production directed by Italian filmmaker Bernardo Bertolucci in the 1960s and 1970s, a time period selected by the curators as a way of relating this selection with the Brazilian reality of the time. Altogether, 11 films directed by Bertolucci were screened in 35mm, as well as a documentary on his work, in December 2008 and January 2009, curated by Joel Pizzini and sponsored by Banco do Brasil.
