Conceived by Cleber Eduardo, this project brought together, for the first time, a collection of feature films produced and/or screened between 1990 and 1994, one of the most critical periods in Brazilian cinema, when production fell to terrifying numbers after Embrafilme’s extinction. The program offered a political and aesthetic reflection, bringing the public of the city of Brasília a return to the film language and the narrative approaches of a kind of cinema that nearly failed to exist, back when distribution efforts and production incentives basically ceased to be and the usual audiences that went to watch Brazilian films disappeared from film theaters.
Screened in March 2010 at the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil in Brasília.
