Organized between 11 and 16 Dezember 2012, the Bolivian Cinema Week of São Paulo presented a special program dedicated to Bolivian cinema. The program was screened at Cine Olido, in downtown São Paulo, and reunited fundamental works in the history of Bolivian cinema. Including works from as early as the silent film era, such as “Wara Wara”, the program also reunited major contemporary Bolivian films, such as “Zona Sur”, by Juan Carlos Valdívia, “Los Viejos”, by Martin Boulouq, and “Insurgentes”, by Jorge Sanjinés, released in 2012 and screened for the first time in Brazil.
