The program presented 17 Brazilian feature films produced between 1960 and 2000 which are explicitly based on true events. The curators prioritized films with little circulation in previous years and that had its repercussion specifically from their “true event” background, shining a light on the way Brazilian society dealt with major events in the last 50 years.
